How to Clean Your Water Distillation Unit
Routine cleaning is the best way to get the most out of your water distillation unit. Regular cleaning of the water distiller will prevent mould growth and allow you to get the best use of the filter, recommended site. The process of cleaning the water distillation system is very simple, but it depends on what system you have.
You may need to clean certain water distillation units more often than others. It all depends on which model you purchased. Sulfamic Acid, also known as descaler is the most popular cleanser. This method is the most efficient and makes the most sense.
Some people prefer to use a milder cleanser to clean the water distiller. Vinegar is a milder and less acidic acid that can be used to clean your water distiller. It is recommended to descale the water distillation unit at least once every 3-4 months. You may need to clean your water distillation unit sooner or later depending on the system. You will need to empty the boiling chamber at least once a week in order to get the most out of your system.
First, turn off the main power switch to clean your water distiller. Next, remove the lid from boiling chamber. Next, add 2 to 3 tablespoons descaler, Sulfamic Acid, or vinegar to the boiling chamber. The solution should be stirred for approximately 5-10 seconds.
